Rhode Necklace
The coin on this delicate necklace is a reproduction of a small ancient Greek coin from 350-300 BC from the island of Rhodes. The obverse of the coin features a profile portrait of Rhode, the Greek nymph, daughter of Poseidon and Aphrodite, wife of Helios the sun god. The reverse of the coin is a little obscure and shows a flower, possibly a hibiscus blossom or a rose.
Handmade in 18k/ct gold-plated* Sterling silver.
Dimensions L 45.0 cm, coin 0.9 cm Ø
*10 mill. 750/000 gold plating. Hard gold plating, can withstand a long wearing time.
